TCX Comp Evo Michelin Sponsorship Deal
TCX to support racers with subsidised price on the Comp Evo Michelin Boot®
To see in the new year in style, TCX is launching a new promotion in the UK, offering competition racers a subsidised price for a limited period on its flagship off-road boot, the Comp Evo Michelin®. The offer will see the normal RRP of £379.99 reduced to just £249.99.
The special promotion is open to any UK competition licence holder and will run from 1 January to 31 March 2017. Licence holders simply need to show their valid licence to a participating TCX dealer in order to purchase the boots at the massive 35% discount.
TCX has added three eye-catching new designs – dark grey/orange fluo, royal blue/yellow fluo and bright blue/red/yellow fluo – to the already extensive range of colours, so there are now 10 different styles to choose from.
Designed with the specific needs of both novice and professional off-road riders in mind, this top-of-the-range Comp Evo Michelin® guarantees maximum performance, safety, comfort and appearance. The boot embodies TCX’s focus on innovation, in particular its pursuit of new materials and the development of products that are at the cutting edge of technology and the forefront of style.
Key features on the Comp Evo Michelin® include the new Double Flex Control system (DFC), which houses an independent PU ankle frame to improve front and rear flexibility of the leg and offer excellent protection against impact. The system integrates a fastening band that follows the mechanical flex of the ankle joint, allowing a precise ankle hold for better riding performance.
The upper features a PU bootleg, which is integrated into the DFC system, enveloping the calf and keeping out mud, dirt and gravel. The PU bootleg is equipped with a rubber heat–guard that offers a superior grip on the bike frame, while the shin plate is adjustable to ensure a good fit on the calf. The CE-certified boot fastens using four adjustable aluminium buckles with an ergonomic design for easier opening, even with gloves.
The Comp Evo Michelin® features the new, high-wear resistant Michelin® MX Hybrid sole, developed in conjunction with Michelin®. Inspired by the Multiway 3D tyre, the sole not only guarantees maximum traction and stability but also makes the boot lighter and more sensitive. Macro-grooves offer increased stability and micro-grooves allow for water evacuation. The customised heel angle maintains foot hold on the footrests and allows fast sliding when required.
